Dr. Oded Kopper

Dr. Oded Kopper joined NewStem after a post-doctoral training at the Hubrecht Institute, where he worked at the lab of Prof. Hans Clevers, a world leader in cell and cancer research. Prior, he obtained a PhD degree in Prof. Benvenisty’s lab at the Azrieli Center for Stem Cells and Genetic Research as well as completed an M.B.A program, both in the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Dr. Kopper brings with him vast expertise in utilizing human pluripotent stem cells and organoid based platforms for research and development in general and for cancer in particular. In his post-doctoral tenure, he led the development of biological platforms for cancer research and demonstrated the potential applications of these models for research and personalized medicine. His work was published in highly prestigious journals.
